Springs Memorial Hospital Offers Parking Lot Shuttle Service

Lancaster, SC - Springs Memorial Hospital is taking another step to provide a convenience to its customers. Beginning Monday, June 9, a shuttle will patrol the front parking lot and the emergency department parking lot to pick up patients and visitors and deliver them to their desired point of entry of the hospital. The shuttle, which is a comfortable, luxury golf cart, will be manned by a volunteer workforce.

The Shuttle Service will be especially beneficial for our senior population, individuals with mobility problems and visitors/patients who may be bringing in large packages as they visit loved ones. Visitors will know when the shuttle is on duty by signage that will be posted at the front entrance and the ED entrance. Shuttle service will not be provided in the evening. However, the hospital’s security guards will use the shuttle to patrol the parking lots for safety.
