Regional Rehabilitation at Springs Memorial Hospital
The rehabilitation services at Springs Memorial Hospital consist of two distinct part units, an acute inpatient rehabilitation unit and a transitional care unit. These units provide a valuable resource for the ill or injured patient once their medical status has been stabilized.
The acute inpatient rehabilitation unit focuses on assisting the patient to regain as much functionality as possible. Basic skills that allow patients to return home independently or with their families are one area where the unit excels. Services are provided to patients with the following disabling illnesses or injuries:

Lancaster Rehabilitation Center
The Lancaster Rehabilitation Center located at 1203 Colonial Commons in Lancaster provides rehabilitation services specializing in Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy. When you or someone you love suffers from a traumatic injury or unforeseen disability, you can depend on our experienced, highly trained staff to use the most up-to-date therapy techniques and technology to restore your health, decrease your pain, and give you a more fulfilling life. After evaluation, we'll develop a specialized step-by-step treatment program just for you. Our services include treatment for:

Your treatment may include heat therapy, ice therapy, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and exercise routines including aquatic therapy. The Center is equipped with treadmills, leg presses, cable columns, exercise bikes, shoulder wheels, and a Biodex system/Dexter system, which uses computerized technology to monitor your progress. Whirlpool treatments are also available. Machines and technology, however, cannot replace the motivation and encouragement delivered by compassionate, dedicated staff.
